ONCE is enough, already!

Every Tuesday we have a staff meeting at church. I take notes. Following the meeting, I re-write the notes and email it out to the staff and elders who weren't present. It's not my favorite thing to do.

While I acknowledge the merit and purpose of the notes, I was explaining to Shane, our worship minister, why I don't like to do the notes.

"It's just that I hear it when we sit in the meeting and talk, and then I take notes, and then I come out and rewrite the notes. I don't even like to do the spell check by the end of it. It's just so repetitive and redundant. "

At which point he not -so- funnily pointed out that I had just done the very thing I hated.

That's reason #10 why I think worship ministers should stay in their office during the day. :-)

Not to be redundant, but I'd like the conversation to go back to earrings now, please.

Oh, wait. Is that reason #9?

Michelle - Great idea. Except I do like the ability to edit our conversations- for self preservation!! Haha :-)

Heather,

I see you received even more national attention on Dusty's blog. Really sorry about what Shane and he are saying about your earrings. As hard as I try, I can't seem to get this deal shut down.

I, for one, really like the earrings and wish you would wear them again soon so the whole world will quit talking about them.

Heather, you're so funny and hilarious! I can't believe someone as clever and bright as you would say that something was repetitive and redundant...

If things continue to go bad with the earring situation, you can always get another job writing entries for a thesaurus!
