I am cooking for Thanksgiving!

I am cooking from scratch. ( Well.... except the bread and stuffing and sweet potato casserole, and pie.) But I made Buckeyes from scratch. Jason said he was impressed that I didn't use a box. It was a very genuine and heartfelt compliment that I gladly accepted.

I'll be honest. I'm feeling pretty domestic. Doesn't happen much in the cooking department for me.

Have a great THANKFUL day!

Good for you Mrs. Domestic.
Thinking of the day, and reading your thoughts, caused me to reflect this morning.
Isn't it amazing how "domestic" our God is?
Each of us created to specifications of a unique recipe He designed and then put in His "favorite dishes" catagory.
Don't ya just love it?
Anyway, thanks for starting my early Thanksgiving morning
by helping me reflect on all the "favorites" God has put in my life.
The four photographed on this blog being among them.
Have a GREAT Turkey day.
Now I'm going to revel in some real recipes.

I think you're a great cook! You haven't burned any jello, and that's great in my book. :o)

I'm glad you cooked for Thanksgiving! We went over to Jeff and Stacie's and it was amazing. I read some of the other entries you wrote and those stories about Eli are so cute! I love the locker one. I miss you guys so much and can't wait to see you again. Tell Eli and Julia "hi" for me.
Love you guys,
