Which Princess Bride Character are You?
this quiz was made by mysti

I love that movie.

And I love Pride and Prejudice.
I have watched Pride and Prejudice for the last two nights as I have entered database work on the computer. My head and nose are stopped up and I'm not very fun to talk or listen too right now, so it has been best to park myself here and get some work done. But I love that movie and never tire of it! (Even as I write now an English accent flows through my keyboard.:-)

Jason and I have an ongoing feud about the significance of the movie. Despite attempts, I have yet to adequately explain what is so romantic about it. Rarely does my husband have typical "guy" responses but he has a mental block against this movie. (His remark in jest last night was 'Okay... so if you want me to treat you poorly for two years and then profess my love for you, I will....')

So if you have seen it... what are your thoughts about what make it so classical?

You know how I feel about this movie. I LOVE IT!!! I don't know what makes it a classic, but I do know that when Mr Darcy tells Elizabeth that he loves her, it is the absolute most romantic thing. Just sitting here thinking of it, I can just sense how much her loved her. My husband would say that "I just love , love" and I do, but this movie takes it to a different level. Let me know when your watching it again and I'll be over with my popcorn! I read you blog everyday and it takes "Pride and Prejudice" for me to comment. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

I am sooooooooooooooooo behind on the movie scene! I just took the quiz too and found out that I am Valerie. Since I've never even seen the whole movie and don't remember her character at all, I also now have a complex! I guess I had better put "Pride and Prejudice" on my list too. My favortie romantic movie is "Shall We Dance". Vanessa gave it to me in a get well care package after my surgery last year and I loved it!

I haven't seen Pride and Prejudice, and my favorite movie is Star Wars. So I'm really not qualified to have an opinion.

I had to comment anyway though. :o)

I haven't seen Pride & Prejudice either but I own Princess Bride. That was the first movie that Chad and I saw together and I just love wesley & buttercup! Such a great movie! However, if we are naming our most favorite movie...mine is "The American President" with "Braveheart" coming in at a close second.

I haven't seen it, either. Haven't even heard of it, in fact.

But, I'll have no part in your girl's night.

I love it. I think what is so appealing is that the story is so basic, so true, so natural. It's a wonderful story with such deep insights.

I was the old woman married to Billy Crystal. That wasn't cool at all.

I liked the original but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the new one. Just the thought of seeing Donald Sutherland in anything gives me the heebie-jeebies. I guess I need to work on that but just really don't like his attitude towards our country. On another note, you should watch "Bride and Prejudice". It is a Bollywood movie and is absolutely wonderful. Lot's of color and dancing and singing. (Yes, I'll admit I like all that stuff.)
